Salted caramel Tarte Tatin

By on September 22, 2014

I know, just with the title and you’re drooling already.  It’s okay, it’s not embarrassing, it happens when it sounds that good.  I mean, who can resist the perfect flaky crust?  The juicy fall apples cooked in a salted caramel butter?  NO ONE obviously!

Meat balls with my little chef #FRD2014

By on May 8, 2014

Are you part of the Food Revolution Day #FRD2014 campaign  yet?  It is a wonderful project that Jamie Oliver is leading.  In case you are not familiar about it yet, I invite you to visit the website where you will find all you need to know about May 16th: www.foodrevolutionday.com

It is worldwide.  100 countries and 105,000 participants have already signed up for Food Revolution Day! There are different ways to be part of it.  It does not have to be big, it can be something you are doing at home, at school or at work and share it with #FRD2014.

My Food Revolution Series started with our little garden to get our kids more conscious as to where the vegetables come from and how it grow.  They are so impatient to see starting to grow, they have been watering it everyday and our son is asking when the cucumbers will be ready to eat.  Not as yet!

Today, I want to share with you a cooking session with my son!  We made meat balls.  He really enjoy it, adding all the ingredients together.
